Location overview

The North Fork's Trusted Harbor

On Peconic Bay across from Shelter Island, we care for powerboats of every make from a harbor the North Fork has trusted for more than 80 years. From here, Gardiners Bay, Long Island Sound, and the Atlantic are all within easy reach.

Founded as a fishing station in 1946 and run by the Lieblein family ever since, Port of Egypt was built on care, not scale. Now part of Hinckley, the same team carries it forward, with new diesel service and certified outboard work across the major brands aboard your boat.

From your first call, you work with a Service Advisor who knows your boat and coordinates the work, the dock, and the haul-and-launch. Between it all you'll find the Alure restaurant, a heated pool, and a fuel dock, steps from the slip.

Your Port of Egypt Service Advisor

Port of Egypt Service Team

From your first inquiry through the season, storage, and service, your Port of Egypt Service Advisor coordinates the plan and stays your single point of contact throughout.

01

Before You Arrive

Tell us the vessel details, the work you want, your current location, and timing. We plan everything before your boat ever reaches the yard.

02

Arrival and Handoff

Tie up at the gas dock and we'll find your slip, then confirm haul or launch timing ahead of the handoff, so arrival day runs without surprises.

03

While We Have Her

We coordinate the trades, approvals, access, and updates throughout, keeping one clear path through the work from the first day to the last.

04

Seasonal Timing

Plan storage and service for spring and fall, and book a summer slip early. The marina fills July to Labor Day; service is busiest in the shoulder seasons.

“We had a great experience when we purchased a new Grady White from POE, extremely professional, helpful and they made sure every detail is covered. Couple that with an extremely well run service department which we have now experience for a few years, they understand how to service Grady Whites extremely well in addition to a full staff of Yamaha service technicians.”
Dan H Southold, NY
“I had a issue with transferring a Volvo diesel engine warranty and the staff took the time and diligence to help me get the transfer of warranty done. They put the time in with dealing with Volvo Corp to insure I had my Warranty transferred and in place. Felt they showed they cared enough to help me with a confusing situation. Would recommend them and they surely earned my future business”
