Hinckley Yacht Services Portsmouth, RI
We care for sail and power yachts of every make on Narragansett Bay. Haul, paint, and refit handled here at full scale.
Location overview
A Full-Service New England Yard
On Narragansett Bay, we care for sail and power yachts of every make — full service, refit, and finish work for owners who cruise the Northeast. The same waters reach Newport, Block Island, the Vineyard, Nantucket, and Long Island Sound, all within a day's run.
Nearly every trade lives in house: mechanical, electrical, electronics, HVAC, rigging, paint, varnish, fiberglass, canvas, carpentry, metalwork, and machining. Our technicians hold factory certification across the major marine brands aboard your yacht.
With two travelifts, cranes to 120 feet, two spray booths, a mast booth, heated indoor storage, and 100 fully equipped slips, we're built for work at scale without losing the one-to-one Service Manager relationship owners expect.

Your Portsmouth Service Manager
Portsmouth Service Team
From your first inquiry through arrival, service, storage, and completion, one Portsmouth Service Manager coordinates the plan and stays your single point of contact throughout.
Before You Arrive
Tell us the vessel details, the work you want, your current location, and timing. We plan everything before your yacht ever reaches the yard.
Arrival and Handoff
We set your slip with the Dock Master and confirm haul or launch timing ahead of the handoff, so arrival day runs without surprises or delay.
While Your Yacht Is With Us
We coordinate the trades, approvals, access, and updates throughout, keeping one clear path through the work from the first day to the last.
Seasonal Timing
Plan off-season storage, refit, commissioning, and launch with us early, especially across the busy March 15 to June 15 window when the yard fills.
