Charles Yash Sokolowski

Yash’s love for boating started at age twelve behind the tiller of a 12FT skiff on the Sheepscot River in Edgecomb, ME. He grew up in Redding, CT, also spending time on the Long Island Sound, and comes from a large family of boaters up and down the East Coast.

Yash graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Communication Studies but knew his passion revolved around the water. After a brief tour on a commercial lobster fishing boat he enrolled at the International Yacht Restoration School and earned a marine systems certificate focusing on diesel engines and electrical systems. He’s been with The Hinckley Company since 2011 and has travelled the world extensively servicing jet boats, which lead to building relationships with customers as a service manager. He carries a 100 Ton USCG license and never misses the opportunity to deliver a boat to a client.

Now, as a Sales Director, his unique combination of hands-on technical skills and proven communication will help guide you through the process of finding the vessel most suited for your lifestyle.

Yash lives on Aquidneck Island with his Wife Hannah and their two young children, Henry and Annie. They enjoy cruising Narragansett Bay and Maine in the Summer, then search for warmth on the water in the Exumas and Southwest Florida in the Winter.
