| Hinckley Company Family & Friends, On behalf of the Board of Directors of The Hinckley Company, we are proud to announce that Geoff Berger joined our senior leadership team in Portsmouth, Rhode Island as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, effective March 31st. Following a comprehensive 14 month search process, we concluded that Geoff’s overall knowledge of our industry combined with more than 20 years of related senior leadership experience made him uniquely suited to fill this important role. While Geoff and his wife have been calling Vero Beach, Florida home, they’re no strangers to New England. Since 2006, they’ve owned a Hinckley Sou’wester 51 named SKANDIA and from time to time have cruised and lived aboard her exploring the coastal and offshore waters of the Atlantic and Caribbean ranging from Newfoundland to the Grenadines. Geoff is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvannia and Harvard Business School and has achieved a distinguished career providing executive leadership and guidance to a diverse range of domestic and international manufacturing and services businesses including Spitfire Ventures, Gibdock Holdings, Piper Aircraft and Blue Rhino. A common theme throughout his career has been the development of highly productive and sustainable organizations that consistently deliver excellence. Most recently, Geoff served as CEO of Boston BoatWorks, builder of MJM Yachts and other semi-custom epoxy composite boats, a company which he co-founded back in 1996. Geoff is very eager to help us chart our course through a difficult business environment in the short term where significant long term opportunities abound.
