Meet us on Shelter Island for the ultimate Hinckley gathering of fun-filled camaraderie with Hinckley owners and friends! Slips and accommodations fill up quickly and ahead of the summer boating season. Now is the time to let us know if you would like to attend so we can get you registered for the weekend.
Planning is well underway for a wonderful stopover and the Hinckley Team is looking forward to seeing you on Shelter Island in July!
Shelter Island Stopover Schedule:
Friday, July 21st: Welcome!
12:00 pm- 3:00 pm: Check-in for the weekend with the Hinckley Team on the docks in Dering Harbor behind Jack’s Supply Store (just a short walk up the hill to The Chequit Hotel).
4:00 pm- 6:00 pm: Meet back on the docks for our Best Dressed Hinckley Contest, where you will have the opportunity to show off the unique beauty of your Hinckley–and your mixology skills! Beer, wine and light bites will be served on the docks as you enjoy hopping from Hinckley to Hinckley.
- 6:30 pm- 9:00 pm: Join us for the Hinckley Owners Dinner hosted on the patio at the historic Chequit Hotel which re-opened last summer following a beautiful renovation.
Saturday, July 22nd:
- 9:00 am- 10:00 am: Continental breakfast served dock side as we prepare for a fantastic day at Sunset Beach.
- 10:45 am: Hinckley Owners gather at the docks to make their way over to Sunset Beach, just a short ride away by boat.
- 11:15 am: The Hinckley Fleet is off the docks headed for Sunset Beach.
12:00 – 3:00pm: Hinckley x Sunset Beach—The festivities kick off at noon! VIP tender service will bring you from your boat to the action on the sand and at the restaurant. While enjoying all of the fun in the sun, come relax in the shade and refresh your drinks at the Hinckley VIP area exclusively for Hinckley owners and friends—the rosé will be flowing!
12:30: Lunch Reservations for Hinckley Owners Stopover who would like to dine at Sunset Beach—Don’t miss the Hinckley Lobster Roll!
Saturday Evening: After a big day at Sunset Beach, we suggest an evening exploring Shelter Island for dinner. Reservations can be made at The Chequit in the Tavern, at the sushi bar, or on the Patio. In this packet, you also will find several fabulous restaurants on Shelter Island including a few just a short walk away from the docks in Dering Harbor and The Chequit.
