SKYWARD is a very nice example of the Tri-cabin layout Justine 36. She has been maintained by Morris Yachts and continuously improved by her owner. She is set up for easy shorthanded sailing with her Leisure Furl furling main sail and just had a new Garmin chartplotter put in at the helm. She is in the water and fully serviced and commissioned for the season.

Introduction
The Justine 36 was the most popular Ocean Series model built by Morris and combines the elegant lines and sea kindly sailing characteristics of Chuck Paine’s designs with the meticulous detail and heirloom quality craftsmanship of Morris Yachts. Capable of ocean crossings but easy to take out for a daysail, she is easily handled and a great boat for a couple or family to enjoy their time on the water.
Hull Construction
Hand laminated solid glass hull built Vinylester resin.
All thru-hull fittings are in solid laminate.

Cockpit
The cockpit is thoughtfully laid out with two settees forward of the wheel (the port is shallow and the starboard is a full sail locker) with high coamings that are angled for comfort when sitting. The primary and secondary winches are located within arm’s reach of the helm for easier short handled sailing and all of the control lines are led back to the cockpit.

Accommodations
The interior of Skyward is laid out in the popular tri-cabin arrangement, which provides two private sleeping areas at each end of the interior, each with a double berth. The aft cabin are also incorporates a larger than normal nav station and the companionway access to the cockpit.
The head and galley are located immediately forward of the aft cabin, with a comfortable U-shaped dinette forward of the head to starboard and a settee opposite forward of the galley.
The interior is finished off with classic Herreshoff styling with antique white bulkheads and overheads and satin finished teak trim to create a light, open feel below. The cabin sole is traditional teak and holly and the overhead is made of antique white panels with teak battens that are individually removable for access to the deck above. The hull sheathing is painted to match the bulkheads.
Excellent light and ventilation from overhead hatches and opening portlights as well as dorades with interior draft controls.
Forward Cabin
The forward cabin features a v-berth with removable filler with a hanging locker aft of the berth to starboard and a bureau opposite to port.
