EMMA has been the beneficiary of exacting and knowledgeable owners who have maintained the boat to the highest standards and have upgraded as necessary. She has been stored indoors by Morris or other professional yards each winter since 1998 and used for short seasons on the Maine coast. Interior Finish & Layout

Traditional Herreshoff interior with white laminate surfaces surrounded by beautiful mahogany trim, providing for a very light and bright interior.

FORWARD CABIN:

Traditional large v-berth with filler and custom shelves mounted outboard as well as drawers and storage beneath the berth.
Dresser aft to port and an additional locker with shelves.
Extra access door to the head from forward cabin.

HEAD:

Aft of forward cabin on the starboard side.
Integrated shower with pull out faucet.
H/C pressurized water and foot pump cold water.
Toilet with holding tank which can be bypassed for direct overboard discharge.
Stainless steel towel racks.
Ample storage outboard of head.

MAIN SALON:

Large hanging locker opposite head.
Settee/berth with cushions to port and storage behind with two large lockers for manual/book storage.
U-Shaped dinnette to starboard which converts to a double berth with the table dropping down to support cushions. This berth makes for a very comfortable seaberth and very comfortable live-aboard or cruising arrangement. Storage located behind.
Aft to port is the full-sized navigation station facing outboard with custom built in instrumentation with shelf outboard and versatile bench with a custom tool box and spare parts storage.
Further aft to port is a wide and comfortable quarter berth with storage shelf outboard and drawer beneath the berth.
Just inboard of the quarter-berth next to the companionway steps is a conveniently located sizable wet locker with shelves for storage.
Outboard of the main berths are nicely finished cabinets with doors (two cabinets and a bookshelf on each side).
Overhead and cabin side vaneer was updated in 2015 with most cabin top hardware rebed.
